In 2019 Maste was opened at the Tondelier site, in the shadow of the old gas tanks.
The concept of restaurant Maste, the interior and the kitchen are inspired with Scandinavian 'hygge' combined with a passion for high quaity, pure dishes and local products. Sam’s cooking art was already awarded with quite some prestigious prices and titles, he likes to stay modest about it. Off course we are very proud of all the achievements we’ve earned so far!
We aim for a modern, industrial look, without being cold. Cosiness is essential at Maste. Everybody is welcome, it is homecoming for all of you, whether you like to dress up or just want to enjoy you dinner casual.
Sam chooses from pure ingredients. Scandinavian cuisine is what inspires Maste, but with a Belgian twist. The Nordic touches you will find in the details.
Sam and his team like to participate at culinairy competitions, so far he earned a few prestigious titles.
